While Wikipedia-surfing I came across an interesting article regarding North Korea. For sometime I have known that the TLD for North Korea is .kp, but what I learned today is that there are exactly two... 2... sites that are .kp, check it out.
One site is a whois registry for the TLD, which at present shows that the site is coming, soon, someday, maybe; and the other is a news site/portal for the "Great, Prosperous and Powerful Nation" that we all know to be North Korea. Check it out: www.naenara.kp.
At this site we can see what Kim Jong-Il is up to on a daily basis, like checking out his appreciation for art. Next if he would begin to appreciate human rights and getting along with other nations, maybe the DPRK could be getting somewhere in the world. Then Kim Jong-Il can upgrade to the newest iPod.
To be honest, I think the West should take an easier and more open approach to dealing with North Korea. Perhaps Barack Obama and Kim Jong-Il should sit down over a good mean and just talk shop, make their ideas known, and show North Korea that we're not evil as they would like to believe, or at least, make their people believe. Its clear that North Korea isn't going to give in to anyone, and its clear they are itching for a fight, so lets not give it to them. Lets take the high road.
